Pierre Jeltiri and Pascal Nicolay took part in the latest SAW Symposium, held in Dresden on 21 and 22 September. This symposium is dedicated to sensor and actuator applications of SAW devices. Pierre Jeltiri presented his latest results in the field of SAW sensors implantable in concrete for Structural Health Monitoring applications. Pascal Nicolay was invited to give a KeyNote on the difficulties inherent in developing new SAW sensors. The Symposium was also an opportunity for members of the CiSMAT team to meet their industrial R&D partners Sensideon and SCD, with which they were able to discuss future projects.
A big thank you to Dr. Hagen Schmidt (IFW Dresden) and his team for the perfect organization of this Symposium, which was very interesting from all points of view.
