1. CiSMAT Partner Day

Das Forschungszentrum CiSMAT veranstaltete gemeinsam mit dem CiSMAT-Partner, PMS Elektro- und Automationstechnik GmbH, den ersten CiSMAT Partner Day. Aus der ursprünglichen Idee des besseren Kennenlernens der fünf CiSMAT-Partner untereinander, wurde eine schöne Veranstaltung, zu der weitere Geschäftspartner eingeladen wurden.

Im Anschluss an die Firmenvorstellung von PMS sowie der interessanten Firmenführung, stellte Herr Pascal Nicolay das CiSMAT-Forschungszentrum vor. Für großes Interesse sorgte der mitgebrachte Teststand, an dem einige Anwendungsmöglichkeiten von Formgedächtnisdrähten vorgestellt wurden. Im Anschluss daran erwartete die Teilnehmer*innen ein sehr spannender Vortrag von Herrn Patrick Bardel, Firma BPN Group GmbH, zum Thema „Cyber Security“.

An dieser Stelle möchten wir uns nochmals ganz herzlich bei der Firma PMS für den top organisierten und sehr interessanten Tag bedanken.

CiSMAT and its industrial partner PMS organized the first CiSMAT Partner Day, on July 1st 2021. This event took place in excellent conditions, within the company PMS. It saw the participation of many industrial partners, including several from the surrounding Lavanttal region.

After a detailed presentation of CiSMAT and PMS activities, the participants were able to visit the PMS facilities, including the brand new production building. After the visit, a very interesting lecture was given by Mr. Patrick Bardel from BPN Group GmbH, on the increasingly important subject of “Cyber Security”. The participants were also able to familiarize themselves with “shape memory actuators” (Smart Materials), thanks to a test-bench set up for the occasion by CiSMAT.
